OUR STORY
Once upon a time, Nestor & Marissa met in the tiny East Village of New York City, fell in love, and got married. They started traveling together 17 years ago. On their first adventure, they hiked/camped a section of the Appalachian Trail. Hiking this trail is where they discovered their couples trail name, "The Tortoise & The Hare". They fed their souls with travel, and exciting food. They traveled quite a bit the first 10 years of their relationship, and stayed inspired by every culture. Nestor is originally from Brooklyn, NY., and Marissa is from El Paso, TX., but their home is now Austin, TX., "The Tortoise & The Hare" is how they have always stayed connected. Little did they know, they would be reflecting on such great memories through the deliciousness of baking!
